Trending Now: Bridal Fashion Week, Fall 2018

We’re back from a whirlwind trip at New York Bridal Fashion Week! Each year we head to New York to be the first to view designers’ newest collections. In addition to previewing the most glamourous, sparkly, and elaborate gowns in the business, we also hand-select which gowns will be arriving at Little White Dress this coming year (but more on that later!) Between the runways and private showings, there are quite a few industry trends captivating the bridal world. See below for the top four bridal trends for Fall 2018.

Plunging Necklines: Designers are going bold with necklines in the most elegant and glamorous ways. Among the designers perfecting the plunging neckline are Galia Lahav, Naeem Khan, Claire Pettibone and more! We can’t wait to see this look on some bold Little White Dress brides.

Flower Power: Floral gowns and accessories were all over the runway, with 3D flowers, floral appliques, beading and brocades. We couldn’t get enough of our designers’ creative interpretations of this trend.

Off The Shoulder: Off the shoulder bridal gowns are sweet, sassy and modern. Designers are accentuating the bride’s natural beauty by showing off a little tasteful extra shoulder without sacrificing glamour. Anne Barge, Naeem Khan, Lillian West and Lela Rose are a few of many Little White Dress designers offering the perfect off the shoulder silhouette this season.

Capes!: We were most surprised by the variety of bridal capes showcased this year. Designers presented a variety of gorgeous alternatives to the classic veil. The cape trend was meticulously executed by Naeem Khan, Lillian West, Sareh Nouri and more. Capes accentuate each gown, making a statement in a variety of materials including tulle, satin, lace!
