Oscars Fashion Recap!
We may be a bit biased (given that we're in the business of beautiful gowns here at Little White Dress Bridal Shop!), but the red carpet is always our favorite part of the Oscars. This year we loved seeing lots of bridal fashion inspiration, and of course we loved seeing several Little White Dress designers represented on the red carpet. Our favorites are right here!
Marchesa
Rita Ora, Karolina Kurkova, and Georgina Chapman (Marchesa designer and wife of Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein) all wore dramatic, memorable looks by red carpet staple Marchesa, a designer we are proud to carry at Little White Dress. We adore the fitted silhouettes, dramatic ruffles, and luxe gold details of these three gorgeous gowns, which are so fitting for a glamorous event like the Oscars.
Naeem Khan
Naeem Khan, another designer whose bridal collection is available exclusively in Colorado at Little White Dress, adorned a bevy of stars at the Oscars. From the intricate beading seen on Solange and Willa Holland, to the ombre draping of Hannah Simone's gown, we can't help but fall even more in love with Naeem Khan's exquisite and elegant designs.
Julianne Hough wore a floral embroidered gown by Naeem Khan. This gown is available in ivory as a bridal gown from Naeem Khan's Fall 2015 bridal collection, aptly named the Tuscany gown.
RIVINI by Rita Vinieris
We were so excited to see Kelly Osbourne in a custom RIVINI by Rita Vinieris gown, especially because her gown is a version of our own RIVINI Martini gown! The Martini gown is a fun and flirty blush gown with a hi-low hem - it's one of our favorite gowns at Little White Dress! {Photo on the right by From the Hip Photo.}
Jenny Packham
America Ferrera looked stunning in an ombre green Jenny Packham creation. With Jenny Packham's signature light, flowing fabrics, and flattering twisted straps, this gown in would make for a romantic bridal gown. Several gowns in our Jenny Packham collection at Little White Dress fit the same feminine and romantic notes.
Reem Acra
Nina Dobrev's fiery Reem Acra number had us reminiscing over the latest Reem Acra bridal runway show, where we saw this headline-making bridal crop top strut down the catwalk! It's so fun to see daring, modern looks on the red carpet AND in bridal fashion!
Bridal Inspiration
There was no shortage of bridal fashion inspiration at the Oscars this year. From Julianne Moore in Chanel, to Marion Cotillard in Dior, Zoe Saldana in Versace, and Karolina Kurkova in that gorgeous Marchesa gown, there were so many beautiful bridal moments on the red carpet. We would love to see fashion-forward brides inspired by these four gowns!
