Happy Thanksgiving From Our Family to Yours!
This year and every year at Little White Dress Bridal Shop, we are so incredibly thankful for our brides, our designers, and our friends and supporters in Colorado and around the country. During a time of the year focused on family, celebrating traditions and making new ones, we love reflecting on the role that weddings and wedding dresses play in each of our family histories. LWD Bridal Styist Talia recently came across her grandparents' wedding photo, and she shared it along with the incredible story behind the photo. (And it's easy to tell where Talia got her impeccable taste in bridal fashion - just look at her grandmother's DRESS!)
Talia says, "My Grandpa Frank and Grandma Rosalie got married in a Catholic Church in Detroit in 1951. My grandma met my grandpa while she was on a date with his brother. While she ended up completely uninterested in my great uncle Pete, she thought my grandpa was quite the catch. They are both Sicilian and they've been happily married for 62 years! Four of my aunts also wore this dress at their weddings!"
We love stories like this! And we love thinking about how the gowns at Little White Dress will be a part of each of our brides' own family histories.
From our family to yours, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
