The buying team at Little White Dress has just returned from our semi-annual trip to New York City, where we saw all the new 2023 collections from our amazing bridal designers! We noticed some big trends that 2023 will want to take note of. Which one would you wear?
Gloves
Credit the Bridgerton look for the return of gloves to bridal fashion! Our favorite gloves function as an extension of the dress, in the same beading, lace, color, or applique - to create a cohesive look. It adds a touch of regal and a touch of it-girl fashion, and since they’re easy to take off, what a great way to change up your look between photos, the ceremony, and reception!
Tiered Tulle
This romantic and fun look was all over Bridal Fashion Week! Tiered tulle layers creates volume and movement, and definitely some drama - without adding weight or embellishment.
Drop Waist Silhouettes
Another ode to regal silhouettes is the return of the drop-waist gown, which creates the illusion of a longer torso and is the perfect way to show some shape without having a fitted skirt.
Metallics
For brides who want a little something different without veering into a colorful palette, metallic fabrics, sequins, and rhinestones are an eye-catching alternative. Our designers showed metallics that bring a little formality to the look or that bring more of a party vibe to a dress!
Corsetry
Corseted gowns provide support and structure and a bit of va-va-voom - and they’re all over the new collections. Exposed boning, defined cups, and sweetheart necklines all feel modern yet very bridal.
