Brenna + Tommy's Magical Summer Wedding

We are beyond excited to share Brenna and Tommy’s dreamy summer wedding. Brenna fell in love with Desiree by Galia Lahav and absolutely stunned in her mermaid styled dress with a low open back and beaded lace crystal details. She topped off her look with our Norwegian Woods Veil by Paris by Debra Moreland.

LWD: Tell us a little about your gown shopping experience.

Brenna: Shopping at LWD was the best experience I had by far. Everywhere else I tried (and I went to a lot of shops) there was something missing. Every dress I tried on, I could tell you what I didn’t like about it. When we finally went to LWD, we were discouraged by previous experiences, but as soon as we got there I described to my stylist Molly what I was looking for and she knew exactly what to have me try on. I was looking for a low back and long train, fit to flare etc., so Molly pointed me in the direction of Galia Lahav. After I tried on her gowns it was very easy to narrow down and immediately found the one I was in love with.

LWD: How did you decide on your Galia Lahav Gown?

Brenna: As soon as I tried on my dress, it was everyone’s favorite. It was honestly very easy to pick because it was the only dress I tried on that I loved. Molly was able to have them make a couple tweaks to it, adding length to the train and thinning out the sleeves and it was perfect!

LWD: What was your favorite part of your wedding?

Brenna: My favorite part of the wedding was getting to celebrate with everyone that we are closest to. Everything about it was very special. Definitely the best weekend of our lives!

LWD: Do you have any advice for brides going through the process of finding their wedding dress?

Brenna: If any bride is like me and they aren’t finding their perfect dress, it’s very frustrating and tiring to keep trying on dresses. My advice would be not to settle for a dress you aren’t absolutely in love with and keep looking. I would also suggest going to LWD because they will be able to figure out the dress that is perfect for you!

LWD: Anything else you want to mention about your experience with LWD?

Brenna: I only have great things to say about LWD, I could go on and on. But the experience I had with LWD was so different than any other store and I couldn’t have been happier. My twin actually just got engaged and we tried a bunch of other stores too, to see if there was anything else she would like. But of course we ended up at LWD and she found her perfect dress as well.
