Austin + Chris' Croatian Seaside Wedding

Austin and Chris’ Croatia wedding will blow you away. This sweet couple wed in a stunning open-air church strung with ivory lisianthus and greenery. Their intimate ceremony was a breathtaking start to their gorgeous day. Following their ceremony and photo session, they hopped on a boat with their guests to head to their seaside reception where they celebrated with friends, family and a sparkling cheese wheel cake!

In partnership with LWD, Austin created a custom Kristene gown by Claire Pettibone and topped her dress with a romantic Maria Elena halo crown.

Austin came to LWD searching for a one-of-a-kind gown unlike anything she had seen. Austin’s stylist at LWD directed her to our Claire Pettibone selection - Claire’s gowns are not only incredibly high quality and totally unique, but also able to be completely customized. Austin loved the Kristene gown as a starting point, and was excited at the opportunity to customize it. The bride immediately decided she wanted to add sleeves and wondered whether Claire Pettibone would be willing to flip the bodice around to make the back the front. Knowing Claire and her ability to execute custom changes flawlessly, we told her we could absolutely make that happen! Austin and her LWD stylist also decided the train would be even more incredible by extending it an extra two feet. We love working with brides and designers who aren’t afraid to customize and create a truly couture gown. Claire Pettibone herself told us she loved making this dress, and Austin’s gown was the inspiration for a long, incredible train in Claire’s brand new, yet-to-be-released collection. What’s even more amazing: Claire personally hand-delivered Austin’s gown to LWD once it was complete, while she was here for a designer appearance at one of our trunk shows.
