Hometown: I was born in Ft. Collins, grew up in Casper, Wyoming and in Green Mountain/Lakewood, and went to college at CU Boulder.
What I love about my job: Supporting and encouraging our staff and our brides to feel valued and empowered.
Favorite bridal gown designer: Our designers are all hard working, brilliant and gifted people, many of whom will always hold a very special place in my heart because of the amazing people they are and because they were so integral and central to our history and success, such as Matthew Christopher, Liancarlo and Claire Pettibone. We no longer carry these three designers, but I want to acknowledge the many years we worked together, and their very positive contribution to how we evolved to who we are today. Each of our designers has their own unique niche and purpose, and our shared business values, relationships and team spirit are just as important as their quality and creativity of gown styles.
I know, long answer that isn’t really an answer! All of our designers are my favorite because they have contributed, or are still contributing, so much to all that we strive to accomplish for our customers every day.
Favorite bridal trend: I love peplums!
How I spend my free time: Hiking, reading news articles, and enjoying time with family and friends - especially my super cute and smart granddaughter.
Favorite TV show: This Is Us.
Drink of choice: Prosecco or anything with fruit-infused vodka.
Advice to brides: Visiting LWD is a must! Don’t miss out! :)
