Mimi’s came to life in June 2010 when founder, Amy opened a small 1,200 square foot boutique in Sullivan, Missouri. What started as a leap of faith, leaving behind years in the classroom to return to her early passion for fashion, quickly became a beloved destination for brides and prom girls. With just a few fitting rooms and a whole lot of heart, Mimi’s grew faster than anyone expected. In 2016, the boutique expanded into a 10,000 square foot space that our family brought to life with months of hands-on work and dedication.

In 2020, we brought Mimi’s Couture Bridal and Mimi’s Prom to Kansas City, introducing an elevated couture experience with world-renowned designers that focused on personalized service. One year later, we expanded once again by purchasing our Town & Country Bridal location in St. Louis, now known as Mimi’s Bridal at Town & Country. Shortly after, we opened Mimi’s Prom STL, the largest prom store in the city.

Today, Mimi’s is a family-owned and woman-led brand with five locations across Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado. In 2025, we welcomed Little White Dress in Denver into the Mimi’s family. Located in the historic Epworth Building in the RiNo district, this location is now home to Mimi’s Couture Bridal at Little White Dress, offering an elite couture experience that blends LWD’s long-standing reputation with Mimi’s signature magic. The garden level of the building is now the home of Mimi’s Prom Denver, bringing the unmatched Mimi’s prom experience to Colorado for the very first time.
